Become an OUTREACH VOLUNTEER
Outreach is the first step in every young person’s journey. Before programs and support, someone shows up, starts a conversation, and makes a connection. That’s the role of an Outreach Volunteer.
You don’t need a degree or formal title — just a willingness to engage, represent Futures First, and connect with people where they are.
Open to youth and adults 18+ who want to show up, connect with people, and represent Futures First in the community.
Outreach takes place across 3 service areas in LA, helping Futures First reach young people where they are.
There is no cost to participate — just a willingness to engage, learn, and be part of the work.
Volunteers help create real community change by starting conversations, building trust, and connecting people to support.
WHAT OUTREACH VOLUNTEERS DO
Connect with young people across schools, community events, shelters, and neighborhoods — meeting them where they are and starting meaningful conversations.
Share information about Futures First, spark interest, and help youth take their first step toward support and opportunity.
Assist with community events, set up outreach tables, and help create welcoming spaces that encourage participation and sign-ups.
Show up with professionalism and purpose — communicating clearly, building credibility, and reflecting the values of Futures First in every interaction.
